San Juan Capistrano / Engagement Photography / Kieu + Peter

Earlier this month of March, my husband David and I had the pleasure to captured a beautiful engagement session of Kieu & Peter at the gorgeous San Juan Capistrano. Peter and Kieu met back in 2004, Freshman year at Mark Keppel High School. They sat next to each other in History class and passed notes to one other to pass time. Their friendship became stronger and stronger as the years went by. Little did they know that they would end up together until Winter of 2017 when they both attended Winter Formal together. The couple made it official on April 21, 2008 and have been going strong ever since. Peter has a passion for collecting Jordans, while Kieu loves to spend time with her dog, Peanut. Peter and Kieu got engaged on April 22, 2017 in Malibu, CA and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together as a married couple. Their plans are to travel and start a family together with plenty of shoes and dogs along the way!

A Fairytale Wedding / Wedding Photographer / Ariena + David

In the beginning of my photography career, I used to have the time to do a lot of 2nd shooting for other photographers (not so much anymore now). This wedding was one of them for Carissa Woo Photography back in September 2016 for Ariena and David’s wedding. It was seriously breathtaking from start to finish, it was a true fairytale! The wedding started at their friends beautiful home where they got ready. Then we headed to David’s parents home for the ceremony and reception. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got to their home, the property was endless. The bride Ariena is a huge Disney fanatic so it was very fitting that she had a fairytale inspired wedding, disney music and decor and a Alice and Wonderland inspired wedding dress. 

After all the time & money spent on wedding planning, and the wedding day is over...what we truly have to show for it are all the memories in still photographs. We believe that's why it's extremely important to have great photographers who are able to make the wedding details live on forever in these amazing images. Congratulations Ariena and David!! Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSULB Long Beach / Shoreline Village / Engagement Photographer / Megan + Elliot

1) Briefly, how did you two meet? ---- Megan and Elliot met in seventh grade and quickly became friends. They started dating in high school and have become the definition of high school sweethearts. Elliot proposed 10 years after their first date in San Jose, CA at the rose garden on Dec. 22, 2016.

2) Megan & Elliot: What are your favorite hobbies? ---- Megan enjoys going dancing with Elliot as her stumbling but willing partner. Elliot enjoys rock climbing and riding his motorcycle with Megan as his passenger. Megan and Elliot both enjoy trying new food, shopping for beautiful shoes, hiking, and traveling to places they’ve never been before.

3) What characteristics do you like about one another? ----- Megan and Elliot enjoy each other as a whole, but there are individual parts of each of their personalities they each find scintillating. Megan enjoys Elliot’s determination mixed with his sense of humor. Elliot enjoys Megan’s sense of adventure and thirst for trying new things, along with her worldly, thoughtful, and intuitive nature.

4) How do you envision for your future together as soon to be married couple?  ---- Megan and Elliot envision building their home while making as many advances in the science community as possible, along with traveling to different parts of the world when time permits relaxation.
