This past November, we had the privilege of photographing Ahmanielle and Jonathan's beautiful wedding at the Embassy Suites of Hilton in LAX. Here's a little background on how these two met in their own words - Ahmanielle: "We met on the online dating site Plenty of Fish. We agreed to go on a movie date to see Transformers and he didn't like talking during the movie, but afterwards we talked until the shopping center closed. Since people in the military go by their last name, I asked him his and without thinking about it, I awkwardly said "that's such a beautiful last name, I want that last name!" (Hall is so short!) Thankfully he laughed at my outburst and I enjoyed him so much, but when he told me he was being deployed to Bahrain soon, I thought the whole thing was too good to be true! However, we hit it off and were together through deployment which only strengthened our bond, and we've been together since. And I did get his last name!"
Ahmanielle & Jonathan's favorite hobbies are: Shooting and riding my motorcycle and Ahmanielle is sewing and baking. They were asked what characteristics they like about one another, their answers was - Jonathan: Amazing personality and loving spirit. Ahmanielle: His gorgeous smile, his kind heart, his compassion for others, his patience and ability to rationalize, plan and take the lead, his commitment to excelling in all he does and willingness to learn and try new things...and lots of other things! The next question was how do envision for your future together as a married couple? Jonathan answer was: We will be a loving family with three kids. Ahmanielle: I envision us living a long, happy and healthy life together that blesses us with generations that will hopefully know what true love is like and the importance of family from the example we set. I hope we travel, grow in our friendship over the years and create a well-lived life full of good memories.
Lastly, is there anything else you would like to share, you're welcome to. Jonathan simply replied with: "POF isn't that bad!" Meanwhile, Ahmanielle commented: "I agree, we get jokes about how we met, but I'm glad we tried it out and took the chance to meet. People should be open to finding love in even the most unlikely places. Even the town we met in, Yuma, Arizona, was an unlikely place. I moved from LA there by myself for a job without knowing why, but I felt it was where I needed to be...and I met Jonathan which is more than I could have ever imagined gaining in that time there. Great things happen in Yuma."
